Railway Mixed High School, Lallaguda Celebrates Annual Day
Railway Mixed High School, South Lallaguda, celebrated its Annual Day on Friday with grandeur and enthusiasm. Shri Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, General Manager, South Central Railway (SCR), graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The event was attended by Smt. Vandana Srivastava, President, SCR Women’s Welfare Organization (SCRWWO), Zonal; Shri Siddharth Kati, Principal Chief Personnel Officer, SCR; Shri Santosh Kumar Verma, Divisional Railway Manager, Hyderabad Division; Smt. Asha Verma, President, SCRWWO, Hyderabad Division; and Shri Katta Anand, Senior Divisional Personnel Officer, Hyderabad Division. The Headmaster, staff members, students, alumni, and well-wishers were also present.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Sanjay Kumar Srivastava stated that students are the future responsible citizens of the nation. He emphasized the importance of holistic development by balancing academics with discipline, moral values, sports, and cultural activities. He urged students to make optimum use of the facilities provided by the school to build a strong and successful future.
On the occasion, the General Manager inaugurated the ‘Prangatha’ Library, aimed at fostering knowledge and learning among students. Later, Smt. Vandana Srivastava inaugurated the ‘Samishti’ Sports Ground, which will benefit over 800 students of the school.
Prizes were distributed to meritorious students, including SSC Toppers 2025 and winners of various co-curricular competitions. Alumni members, donors, and former heads of the institution announced cash awards to motivate and encourage students.
