Sleeping Pods Facility Set Up at Guntur Railway Station
Affordable short-stay accommodation to enhance passenger comfort

South Central Railway’s Guntur Division has set up a Sleeping Pods Facility at Guntur Railway Station as part of its Non-Fare Revenue (NFR) initiatives, aimed at improving passenger amenities while boosting non-fare earnings.The facility has been established at Platform No.1, Gate No.3 and offers safe, modern and economical short-stay accommodation for passengers, including families and women travellers. At present, similar facilities are available only at Visakhapatnam and Charlapalli Railway Stations, making Guntur the latest addition.
Salient Features:The sleeping pods facility has a total capacity of 64 beds, comprising:
52 Single Beds
12 Double Beds
Out of the total beds, those earmarked for families and women passengers include:

12 Single Beds
