BC JAC District Chairperson Dasari Usha demands
Peddapalli Press Club, December 06:BC JAC Peddapalli District Chairperson Dasari Usha demanded that the government pay an ex-gratia of ₹1 crore to the family of Eshwarachari, who sacrificed his life in Hyderabad demanding BC reservations.
On Saturday, she met District Collector Koya Sriharsha at the Peddapalli Integrated Collectorate office and submitted a representation urging immediate action to stop the ongoing social attacks on BCs.Speaking to the media afterwards, she said the recent indecent incident involving the husband of a BC candidate who filed nomination for a general seat in Nalgonda district was shameful to civil society. She added that Eshwarachari’s sacrifice for BC reservations has deeply shaken everyone. She alleged that this was not merely a suicide, but a murder committed by the government through its negligence. She demanded that the government take responsibility and provide ₹1 crore ex-gratia to the family, along with a government job to one family member. She also demanded that the government bear the educational expenses of the children up to post-graduation.She criticized the central and state governments, saying they were simply misleading people with false promises regarding BC reservations. She said BC children should not sacrifice their lives but instead teach a lesson to such political parties. She emphasized the need to unite BCs on a single platform to achieve BC reservations. She urged every BC household to send at least one person into the movement.
