As per the instructions of Ramagundam Commissioner of Police, the Peddapalli SHE Team conducted an awareness session for students of Gayatri Junior College located in Christian Colony, Peddapalli.

SHE Team In-charge SI Lavanya addressed the students and spoke about women’s safety, online frauds, anti-drug awareness, and cautioned boys to stay away from drugs and bad habits. She also made it clear that strict action will be taken against anyone who harasses girls.

She informed that, for the safety of women, the SHE Team has been continuously deployed every day at bus stands, main junctions, public gathering points, and near educational institutions. She urged women and students not to fear and to immediately report any harassment by calling 6303923700, assuring that the identity of the callers will be kept confidential.

She further warned students not to fall prey to cybercrime scams and illegal loan apps. Victims of online fraud were advised to call the Cyber Crime Helpline 1930. In case of any threat or immediate danger to women, she instructed them to dial 100 without delay.

SHE Team members Mounika, Suresh, Snehalatha, along with Principal Kumar, teachers, and students participated in the program.
