SCR General Manager Inspects Kacheguda Station, Reviews Key Rail Sections

Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, General Manager of South Central Railway (SCR), conducted a detailed inspection of Kacheguda Railway Station on Monday. He also carried out a rear window inspection covering key rail sections including Kacheguda–Sitafalmandi and Charlapalli–Yadadri.
Station Facilities and Safety Review
During the visit to Kacheguda Railway Station, the General Manager inspected passenger amenities on Platform No. 1, examined the Foot Over Bridge, and reviewed yard and pit line operations. He interacted directly with railway staff and officials, stressing strict adherence to safety procedures and systematic operations.
The inspection extended to the Golnaka side of the station, where he reviewed ongoing and proposed upgradation plans aimed at improving infrastructure and passenger convenience.
Inspection of Strategic Rail Sections
Accompanied by divisional railway managers and senior officials, Srivastava undertook a rear window inspection of the Sitafalmandi–Lallaguda–Yadadri section.
Further inspection between Charlapalli and Yadadri included a detailed review of signalling systems, tracks, curves, gradients, and bridges. The General Manager emphasized comprehensive safety measures across the section.
Yadadri Station Redevelopment
At Yadadri Railway Station, the General Manager inspected ongoing redevelopment works being executed at a cost of ₹24.45 crore. He reviewed progress and instructed officials to accelerate the works to ensure completion within the stipulated timeline.
