2006 batch IPS officer Kranti Kumar Gadidesi took over charge of Bokaro IG from outgoing IG Dr Michael Raj S on Wednesday. He said that SPs of almost all districts of the zone have also been changed. A strategy for district crime and crime control will be prepared by holding a review meeting with SPs of Bokaro, Dhanbad, Giridih, Hazaribagh, Koderma, Ramgarh, Chatra within a day or two. Better policing will be introduced in all districts of the zone, so that common people's trust in policing and law increases. Work will be done by making a strategy for concrete action on Naxalism to organized crime, cyber crime, economic crime, drug trade and illegal mining.
