*Gujarat: Govt employees organise blood donation drive to celebrate PM’s birthday*
According to the official release, over 1.28 lakh employees had registered for the blood donation driveTo celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, the government employee associations across Gujarat organised a mega blood donation drive — ‘Namo ke Naam Raktadan’. Health Minister Rushikesh Patel launched the drive by inaugurating a blood donation camp at Juna Sachivalaya in Gandhinagar on Tuesday morning, said an official release from the state government.
As part of the drive, the association of government employees also developed an application ‘Namo ke Naam Raktadan’ for the employees to register themselves for the blood donation. The one-day blood donation camps were held at 378 places across the state, said the government statement.
According to the official release, over 1.28 lakh employees had registered for the blood donation drive. The blood donation drive has been organised to help the needy on the occasion of the success of Operation Sindoor and PM Modi’s birthday, stated the official release.
